My name's Eane! I am a person who has had two head injuries, yet I work not to let them define my life! I rather have my supporting others with my books and smile define me! I have an MS in education, and work very hard to allow my teaching ability help others! I am very interested in each person I meet and I try to get to understand what influences people and what really allows their success!
Creativity and the use of a person's individual nature to allow success is such an inspiration! I would love to hear about your story and how you've been able to achieve the quality of life that you have! Hope to talk to you soon!
I can be very goal oriented, almost obsessively so. I sometimes need to remind myself that if I slow down, things can come to me! I guess I've kind of trained myself like that with my education! 9 years through my college and Masters program: 9 years of learning that by returning to a successful routine can be the difference between success and failure! This achievement oriented philosophy makes me do exercises every day or every other day, wanting to keep my brain healthy and my eyes on the prize of living the best life I can!
I love to talk, or actually, to type, so just give me something to say, and I will work to bring my abilities and interests to it! I always like bringing out the ideas of diversity and looking at life a different way!
And I am spiritual, whenever I have my breakfast fruit and walnut snack in the morning at McDonald's, you will see me bow with mindfulness and thankfulness for the gift. Mindfulness is a big thing for me: why live life the same way every day if we can mix it up? Of course, I realize that what I've written before about success routines contradicts that, but there is a difference between using routines of success and being diverse! Especially with a disability, routines of success may need to be followed in effort to make yourself the most successful you can be! And while I accept and appreciate others lives and living (cultural relativity), I do realize that by being my best, I need to follow certain patterns I've learned from my schooling!
I am pretty independent, although sensory disabilities do make me rely on others! I really think independence is more about what you consider yourself to be able to do, and I can move mountains with my energy and enthusiasm! Just by providing my unique blend of motivation and success, I am able to inspire those that need it, to move and succeed in jobs that are difficult and have a long time requirement!
My newest mountaint that I'm working on is working out my presentation on Power Point for the Pacific Brain Injury Confeerence! Should be fun! I love connecting with people!!
